Qing Fang

Qing Fang has extensive work experience in the renewable energy industry. Qing is currently serving as the Vice President of Operations at EDF Renewables North America since March 2019. Before that, they held the position of Sr. Director of Asset Management at Panda Power Funds from June 2018 to February 2019. Earlier in their career, Qing Fang worked at AES, starting in 2008 as the Regional Director and Project Director for AES US Wind Operations and AES North America Generation. Qing later became the President of AES Wind Generation and Regional Director for AES US Strategic Business Unit from March 2013 to April 2018. Prior to AES, Qing Fang worked at Babcock & Wilcox in various positions, including Manager and Engineer, from January 1990 to October 1996. Qing Fang gained experience in construction management and project management during their time at AES China and AES Aurora, USA from November 1996 to March 2007.

Qing Fang has completed an MBA in Business Administration from the Texas McCombs School of Business. They also hold a Certificate in Management with a focus on Organizational Leadership from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. Additionally, Qing Fang has a Master of Engineering in Thermal Engineering from Tsinghua University.
