Tyler Balding

Tyler Balding serves as the Director of Business Development for Canada and the Northeast US at EDF Renewables North America since February 2023. Previously, Tyler held the position of Director of Business Development at Skyline Clean Energy within The Skyline Group of Companies from March 2020 to February 2023. As Principal at Synergist Energy from December 2015 to February 2023, Tyler focused on renewable energy consulting in government relations, corporate strategy, project development, and project finance. Tyler also led Panasonic Eco Solutions Canada as General Manager for Energy Storage Solutions from September 2017 to April 2019, targeting behind-the-meter energy storage strategies. Additional experience includes roles at GreenLease Capital, Amp, Canadian Solar Inc., Conergy AG, and General Electric, culminating in significant expertise within the renewable energy sector. Tyler holds an MBA in Business Administration and Management from the Schulich School of Business at York University, earned between 2011 and 2014.
