Christopher Rickman

Christopher Rickman has a diverse work experience in the field of energy trading and IT. Christopher began their career at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young as a Staff Consultant from July 1999 to October 2000. Christopher then worked at Perficient (formerly ZettaWorks) as a Senior Consultant from October 2000 to October 2007, where they mentored junior team members and worked on projects for energy clients.

From February 2002 to July 2005, Christopher worked as a Programmer Analyst at Dominion, where they were responsible for code development and testing for projects supporting energy trading operations. Christopher then moved on to the role of Systems Analyst at Dominion from July 2005 to July 2007, where they produced system requirements, functional specifications, and system designs.

At Dominion, Christopher also served as the Business Systems Specialist from July 2007 to September 2011, in charge of the relationship between IT and the Enterprise Risk Management department. From September 2011 to May 2012, they held the position of Business Area Manager at Dominion, responsible for the delivery of IT products and services to all of Dominion's energy trading business units.

Since May 2012, Christopher has been working at EDF Trading North America. Christopher started as a Principal Business Analyst, responsible for business analysis and project management for various trading groups. Christopher then became the IT Program Director, overseeing the alignment of the IT project portfolio with business drivers for Trading and Shared Services areas. From March 2015 to April 2023, they served as the VP of IT, responsible for solution delivery and IT functional support for wholesale trading groups.

Currently, Christopher holds the position of Head of IT, North America at EDF Trading, where they are responsible for the delivery and support of all IT services for the company's North American business units. Their portfolio includes ETRM, market data, ERP, SCADA, ISO interface platforms, as well as physical and cloud infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity.

Christopher Rickman attended Trinity University from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
