Sharon Cochran

Sharon Cochran possesses extensive experience in the field of engineering, particularly in SCADA and EMS systems. Currently serving as SCADA Team Manager and formerly as Senior SCADA Engineer at EDF Trading since March 2019, Sharon has demonstrated strong leadership and technical skills. Prior experience includes serving as an EMS/SCADA Consultant at American Municipal Power, Inc. from September 2015 to December 2018, and as IS Analyst II at Calpine from November 2011 to September 2015. Sharon began a career in engineering with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Los Angeles, earned between 2004 and 2009, and has prior education from Cerritos College. Additional early experience includes roles as a Student Assistant in the Early Entrance Program at California State University, Los Angeles, and as an Instructional Aide for the City of Downey.
