Pieter Stougaard has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Pieter started their career as a busboy at The Lodge at Torrey Pines in 2010. Pieter then worked as an education intern at La Jolla Playhouse, teaching and directing children in the Young Performers' Workshop. Stougaard also had an architectural intern role at Delawie, where they assisted with construction, model-making, and design presentations. Pieter further expanded their experience as an interpretive materials intern at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, organizing interactive events and compiling content for a mobile tour.
Stougaard also worked at Kenyon College, first as a resource cataloguer, and later as an admissions counselor. As an admissions counselor, they reviewed applications, interviewed prospective students, coordinated campus tours, and managed financial aid. Additionally, they engaged with alumni to increase contributions to the college.
Stougaard's next role was at The Gund Gallery, where they managed the gallery's website and social media pages, organized exhibitions and programs, and conducted art tours in the community. Pieter then joined Chelsea Hospitality Partners as an associate, responsible for budget management and collaborating with design professionals for property renovations.
Currently, Stougaard holds the position of Director of Creative Strategy at EDG Design. Prior to their current role, they served as a creative strategist, contributing to the company's strategic planning and execution of creative projects.

Pieter Stougaard completed their high school education at The Bishop's School from 2005 to 2009, earning a High School Diploma. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Art History at Kenyon College, where they studied from 2009 to 2013.
