Tom Whalen

Tom Whalen, CPA, currently serves as a Partner at Edge Advisors, where Tom has specialized in tax, tax planning, and practice management consulting since October 2016, focusing on enhancing the efficiency and profitability of practices for healthcare practitioners. Prior to this role, Tom was a Tax Manager at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP from January 2011 to October 2016, overseeing various client tax projects and providing consultative services for diverse entity structures. Tom also held the position of Senior Tax Accountant during this time and briefly worked as a Document Preparer at McGladrey & Pullen in early 2009. Tom's professional journey began with an earlier role as a Summer Day-Camp Counselor at the YMCA in 2007. Tom earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2010.
