Gavin Bai

Gavin Bai has a strong background in engineering and software development. Gavin currently holds the position of Director of Engineering at Edge AI Inc., where they have been since 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Software Engineering at the same company. From 2018 to 2022, Gavin worked at MSA - The Safety Company as an Engineering Manager II, specializing in software. Before that, they gained extensive experience as an Engineering Manager at General Monitors by MSA from 2011 to 2018. Gavin also worked as MTS III at Panasonic Avionics Corporation in 2010 and as an Engineer Lead at Versa Technology, Inc. from 2002 to 2010. Gavin began their career at Transtech Networks Inc. as a Hardware & Software Engineer in 2001.

Gavin Bai completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Xidian University in 1996. Following this, they pursued their Ph.D. in Network Communication and Information System at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications from 1996 to 2001. In 2014, Gavin obtained their Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute. Between 2014 and 2016, they attended the University of California, Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business and obtained their Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Business, Strategy, Management, and Finance.
