Blaise Mempouo

Blaise MEMPOUO is a highly experienced professional in the fields of sustainable building and energy efficiency. Currently serving as a Visiting Industry Fellow at Oxford Brookes University since February 2023, Blaise delivers lectures, participates in network events, and mentors students while contributing to program development in the Faculty of Technology, Design and Environment. As an EDGE Expert and Auditor with EDGE Buildings, Blaise provides independent third-party auditing for EDGE Certification. Additionally, as CEO of ARPEDAC Entreprises et Collectivités, Blaise advises on green design and facilitates EDGE certification processes. With a background as a Research Fellow at the University of Nottingham, Blaise has led significant projects focused on energy-efficient retrofitting and thermochemical energy storage, specializing in reducing the carbon footprint of buildings through innovative technologies. Blaise holds a PhD in Heat Pumps and Low Carbon Homes from The University of Nottingham.
