Mohammed Fekry Abdelghafour

Mohammed Fekry Abdelghafour is an experienced professional in the fields of mechanical engineering and sustainability. Currently serving as an EDGE Expert at EDGE Buildings since July 2023, Mohammed also holds roles as a LEED Green Rater and LEED Consultant/Instructor at Green Guide since October 2017, providing training and consultancy in LEED certifications. Since November 2018, Mohammed has been a member of the USGBC LEED Faculty, representing a global network of sustainability instructors. Previous experience includes senior positions at Pace Architecture, Engineering + Planning and Ansari Engineering Services, where responsibilities involved supervising mechanical and MEP activities and managing project documentation. Mohammed began their career as an HVAC Engineer and has a foundational degree in Mechanical Power Engineering from Cairo University, complemented by a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
