Jan Brassard Smith has diverse experience across several industries, including customer support, event management, and music. Currently serving as a Customer Support Representative at EDGE Business Systems since August 2018, Jan also co-founded Northern Roots Southern Charm Events, LLC, where the roles of CFO and Director of Marketing are held. Musical talents have been showcased as a pianist at Von Maur since October 2011 and as an accompanist for the Children's Choir at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church since September 2011. Previous positions include providing musical ambiance at Alpine Bakery and Trattoria, working as an E-Learning Specialist for Elgia, Inc., and directing the Contemporary Ensemble at St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church. Jan holds a BS and BA in Computer Science, French, and Math from the University of Vermont, along with additional educational experiences at Université Côte d'Azur and AFS-France.
