Noah Carlson has a diverse work experience in the technology and marketing industries. Noah began their career at Morsekode in 2015, serving as an Analyst Intern for four months followed by a role as an Assistant Account Manager for ten months. In 2018, they transitioned to Edge Case Research as a Safety Engineer Intern, where they gained valuable industry knowledge. Noah then progressed to the role of Safety Engineer, demonstrating their commitment to the company and their skills in the field. In May 2022, they were promoted to the position of Technical Program Manager, showcasing their growth and leadership abilities.
Noah Carlson pursued their Bachelor's degree from 2010 to 2014 at Saint Olaf College, where they studied Mathematics, Latin American Studies, and Political Science. In 2018, they enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University to pursue a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, which they completed in 2019.

Edge Case Research was formed by leading autonomy and software safety experts from Carnegie Mellon University who believe that safety should be baked into all software products from the ground up. Founded by people who were first involved in autonomous vehicle safety as far back as the late 1990s, ECR helps customers in the autonomous vehicle and robotics industries to tackle the thorny problems of safe perception, planning, and actuation.
