Tim Tully

Tim Tully is a Partner at Menlo Ventures and has been serving as Splunk’s Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer since 2018, having previously held the role since 2017. With a solid foundation in real-time data analytics and product design, Tim has also contributed over 14 years in various engineering roles at Yahoo! Inc., including Vice President of Engineering. Early in their career, Tim worked at Sun Microsystems and was involved with several startups. In addition to their professional pursuits, Tim actively advises entrepreneurs and educational institutions, holding a prominent position on the advisory board for the M.S. in Business Analytics program at Santa Clara University. Tim holds a Master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Davis.
