Jason Dispenza has extensive work experience in the energy and finance industries. Jason started their career in 2004 as a Wholesale Mortgage Manager at Accredited Home Lenders, where they focused on sales, leadership development, and risk management. In 2005, they joined UMG Financial, Inc. as the Director of Wholesale Mortgage Lending, where they designed loan origination and servicing platforms and negotiated contracts.
In 2006, Jason became the CEO and President of EDGE Energy, a vertically-integrated ESCO specializing in energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions. Under their leadership, EDGE Energy received multiple awards for excellence in performance and sustainability. In 2014, they became the Chairman of Building Change, Inc., a non-profit organization focused on promoting energy efficiency and community development initiatives in Maryland.
Since 2016, Jason has served as the CEO and Co-Founder of EnLedger, a holding company and technology platform provider. EnLedger aims to address large-scale issues in crowd funding, real estate financing, and distributed energy networks. They develop smart contract packages and blockchain solutions for the real estate, construction, and energy sectors. They also specialize in creating affordable and net-zero energy projects.

Jason Dispenza attended Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology from 1996 to 2000, where they focused on a Senior Concentration in Energy Systems. Afterwards, from 2000 to 2004, they pursued a double major at the University of Virginia, obtaining a B.S. in Biological Chemistry and a B.A. in Economics. In July 2019, they received certification as a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) from the Association of Energy Engineers.
