Ricardo Franco Amaral

Ricardo Franco Amaral currently serves as the Head of Airframe and Mechanical Systems Engineering at ADASI, part of EDGE, where responsibilities include leading the development of various UAV platforms, defining technical processes, and developing personnel. Previously, Ricardo held positions at Embraer as the Loads and Aeroelasticity Engineering Manager and Product Development Engineer, focusing on flight loads, aeroelastic stability, and compliance with airworthiness requirements. An early career internship at Embraer involved developing a finite element dynamic model for turboprop aircraft. Ricardo holds a Master's degree in Aeroelasticity and Unsteady Transonic Aerodynamics and a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica.
