Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Edge Impulse

Alex Elium began their career in 2003 as an Intern at National Instruments. Alex continued to work there as an Intern in 2004. In 2005, Alex worked as an Intern at Dell. From 2006 to 2008, Alex worked as a Research Assistant at UC Berkeley. From 2008 to 2014, Alex worked at Applied Research Labs as an Engineering Scientist and Engineering Scientist Associate. In this role, they developed embedded DSP software to track position underwater, and lead the engineering on an ultra low power data collection and processing device. From 2014 to 2021, Alex worked at American Innovations as an Embedded Software Manager, Embedded Software Team Lead, and Senior Embedded Software Engineer. Since 2021, Alex has been a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Edge Impulse.

Alex Elium attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Alex then attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2006 to 2007, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
