Arjan Kamphuis

Arjan Kamphuis has been working in the embedded software engineering field since 2006. Arjan started their career at XLNT Advanced Technologies as an Embedded Software Engineer, where they developed the XLNT Ethernet network switch range and the XLNT DN2 Artnet <-> Ethernet converter. In 2009, they moved to CSTI, where they developed embedded software for the "Sensation Inner Space" dance event. This included hoist and light control via Ethernet. In 2012, they joined ASL as an Embedded Software Engineer, where they developed an intercom system with multiple audio sources. In 2018, they co-founded Automatiek and also began working as a Freelance Embedded Software Engineer, specializing in Audio DSP, Network Technologies, and Real-time Operating Systems. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Edge Impulse as an Embedded Engineer and was later promoted to Embedded Software Team Lead.

Arjan Kamphuis obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Embedded Electronics from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) between 2004 and 2008. Arjan also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering from SAE Rotterdam between 2000 and 2001.
