Louis Moreau

Louis Moreau's work experience includes a variety of roles in the technology industry. Louis currently serves as the Developer Relations Lead at Edge Impulse, where they generate engaging content to promote the adoption of embedded machine learning and teaches engineers how to utilize machine learning in problem-solving. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Developer Relations Engineer at the same company, where they also focused on educating and inspiring customers. Before joining Edge Impulse, Louis worked as a User Success Engineer at the company from April 2021 to January 2022.

Louis has also held positions at other companies, including Scaleway and SIGFOX. At Scaleway, they worked as a Product Marketing Engineer and a Solution Engineer, focusing on promoting and developing technological solutions. At SIGFOX, they served as a Program Manager - Software Engineer and a Developer Advocate, where they worked on designing IoT solutions, building prototypes, and writing tutorials to support the Sigfox community.

Additionally, Louis has experience as a Full Stack Engineer at Goodeed, a Full Stack Developer at La Sécurité Incendie, a Frontend Developer at Webinage SAS, and a PHP Developer at Université de la Nouvelle Calédonie. Louis also went on a backpacking trip in Southeast Asia with their wife for six months while working at Marlou Travel.

In terms of teaching experience, Louis has worked as an External Speaker/Teacher at HEI - Hautes Etudes d'Ingénieur, where they taught Master students about IoT, Embedded Programming, and Machine Learning.

Throughout their career, Louis has gained expertise in various programming languages and technologies, including NodeJS, Express, Loopback, MongoDB, Socket IO, Redis, Arduino, Angular 4, Drupal 7, and more.

Louis Moreau began their education at Lycée Saint Jean Baptiste de la Salle Rouen, where they obtained a Baccalauréat Scientifique in Spécialité Physique-Chimie in the years 2007 to 2010. Louis then went on to pursue an Engineer's Degree in Information Technology at HEI - Hautes Études d'Ingénieur from 2010 to 2016. During this time, in 2011 to 2012, they also earned a Certificate of Higher Education in Systems Engineering from the University of Greenwich. Additionally, they participated in the ERASMUS program at Universidad Pontificia Comillas in 2015 to 2016, focusing on Telecommunication and Business Administration.

In terms of certifications, Louis Moreau has completed several courses. Louis obtained the following certifications: "Introduction to Embedded Machine Learning" from Coursera in March 2021, "Convolutional Neural Networks," "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," "Sequence Models," "Structuring Machine Learning Projects," "AI For Everyone," "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" all from Coursera in April and May 2020. Louis also completed the "MOOC L'Atelier RGPD" certification from CNIL - Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés in March 2020.
