Alex Ball

Alex Ball is a Django Developer and the current Engineering Team Lead at Edge On Demand. Alex has over three years of experience in full-stack development and design. Alex has also overseen the development of a number of Django-based websites, including www.ali.org. Alex is also experienced in unit testing and Twelve-Factor App methodology. Prior to joining Edge On Demand, Alex worked as a staff writer for The Daily Pennsylvanian and as President of Ameryn Media, a media digitization company specializing in vinyl and cassette transfer to CD and mp3.

Alex Ball's educational career consists of a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Basis of Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania, high school with honors from the Academy of the New Church Boys School, and certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and Linux Academy in DevOps Essentials.

Alex Ball works with Andrew Kim - Software Engineer, Tom Rein - Software Engineer, and Yamao Maoen - Software Engineer. Their manager is Chris Spencer, CTO.
