Andrew T. R. Ruiz has over 12 years of experience in the IT field. Andrew T. R. began their career in 2007 as a Client Support Analyst at Countrywide Corporation, where they supported 400 users in 8 locations within an environment of 250 Windows XP servers. Andrew T. R. also supported 100+ financial applications, LAN/WAN for remote users, and connectivity issues experienced during trading hours. In 2008, they moved to Guitar Center as a Support Analyst, Desktop Services, where they provided sustaining support for calls escalated from the help desk team for 6K+ users across 250 stores. In 2010, they began working for Sony Pictures Imageworks as a Systems Administrator (Contractor), where they were initially hired as a contractor and subsequently promoted to full-time employee as a server specialist. Andrew T. R. supported 600+ Windows end-user desktops and was the point-of-contact for a wide range of technical issues including LAN/WAN, hardware, and software problems. Andrew T. R. was recognized as a technical expert for resolving 75%+ issues with a single remote call, far exceeding the company's earlier experience. That same year, they also began working for Neurotopia, Inc. as an IT Project Manager, where they built machines to technical specifications and designed servers and machines for a startup business that enabled head trauma patients and individuals experiencing stress to control games via brain waves. Andrew T. R. also created a method for technicians to remotely access machines. In 2011, they moved to Sony Pictures Entertainment as a Server Engineer/ Technical Project Manager. Andrew T. R. project managed hardware and software installation and IT security, set and executed on a project management strategy for an 8-month IT security/infrastructure rebuild, broke the rebuild into multiple, actionable phases, determined software and hardware requirements, 8-month schedule, resources, and budget, and rebuilt the infrastructure in a team of 3 over 8 months, creating a fully optimized system that continues to lead the industry with respect to IT security. Andrew T. R. earned promotions for their project management strategy coupled with technical expertise delivered in response to a hack crisis that compromised the complete IT infrastructure and immobilized the company. In 2017, they moved to Quest as a Project Manager and in 2018 they moved to Edge Solutions and Consulting Inc. as a Client Director.
