Maakeb Hakim

Maakeb Hakim has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years, with roles in various companies. Starting in 2005, Maakeb worked as a .NET Software Developer at Sunrise Telecom®, where they designed a Timesheet system and co-developed the Sunrise System Architecture Framework. From 2006 to 2007, they worked at Hydro Québec as a Software Developer, where they designed and implemented an Employee Schedule Management Application and managed a small team. At CGI from 2007 to 2010, Maakeb developed the Extranet Asset Management System and led the design and development of an Internal Service Management System. From 2010 to 2011, Maakeb worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Verint, contributing to the development of the Nextiva Streaming application and collaborating with the SQA team. At Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking - SG CIB in 2011, they co-developed the NewGen Forex Trading solution and designed real-time monitoring services. From 2012 to 2013, Maakeb worked as a Team Lead at nventive, designing and developing applications for Windows 8 and Windows Phone 7/8. At Alstom Transport from 2013 to 2015, they led the migration of the ISM Integrated Security Management solution and developed innovative features for the Passenger Information Management module. From 2015 to 2019, Maakeb worked at Rockwell Automation as a Senior Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented components for programming the Rockwell Automation Control System and served as a Scrum Master. Currently, Maakeb is the Software Technical Lead at EDGE10 Group, where they spearhead a team of engineers and implements REST API integrations.

Maakeb Hakim attended Polytechnique Montréal and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering.
