Mike Whitehurst is an accomplished educator and retired U.S. Air Force veteran with extensive teaching experience at Edgecombe County Public Schools since June 2006, where the role of High School Teacher has been held. In addition, Mike Whitehurst has served as a Senior Aerospace Science Instructor since retiring from the Air Force in 2006. Academically, Mike Whitehurst holds multiple master's degrees in various disciplines, including Advanced Military and Operational Studies from the Air War College, Military Strategic Studies from the Army Command and Staff College, Military Operational Art and Science from the Marine Corps Command and General Staff College, and Secondary Education from East Carolina University, where a bachelor's degree in secondary education was also obtained.
