Brian Heavey

Brian Heavey is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software development and product management. Currently, as Chief Technology Officer and Head of Product Development at Edgescan since January 2022, Brian has previously served as Co-Founder and Director at Reevre, focusing on disruptive innovation in short-term lending. Brian's tenure at Wipro involved transitioning key products from IBM and enhancing operational efficiency, while significant contributions at IBM included leading the Netcool software development team and establishing recruitment strategies at IBM Tivoli Software. Brian's early career included roles at Vallent, Tyco Ltd., and Marconi, highlighting a strong foundation in software engineering. Brian holds an MSc in Bioinformatics from The University of Manchester and a BSc in Microbiology from the University of Galway.
