In 2016, Emanuel Georgouras joined Edgewater Markets as Director of Sales, with over 17 years extensive in-depth process knowledge of the FX industry. In 2017, he was appointed Head of Edgewater Europe.
Emanuel began his FX career as Market Maker at MKS Finance in Sydney, focusing on precious metals, and in Geneva, as Chief Silver Trader. In 2003, he worked in London for CMC Markets as a Trader for the Global Markets in FX, Equities and Metals. Afterwards, Emanuel was Head Bullion Trader & Developer at Marex Spectron. Prior to Edgewater, Emanuel worked for Axicorp in Sydney, first as Head of Trading and then as Head of Derivatives & CFDs. Emanuel has a profound knowledge in capital markets and corporate finance.
Emanuel holds a Diplom BCom in Finance & Marketing from the University of Sydney and diplomas in Finance Management and Financial Services from the Australian Institute of Management.
