Badreddin Edris

Badreddin Edris has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Badreddin most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer at SpringWorks Therapeutics starting in December 2020. Prior to that, they were the Chief Business Officer at SpringWorks Therapeutics from September 2018 to December 2020.

Badreddin also co-founded Edgewise Therapeutics, where they held multiple roles including Co-Founder & Board Member starting in February 2021, Co-Founder & Advisor from March 2018 to February 2021, and Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer from May 2017 to March 2018.

Before Edgewise Therapeutics, Badreddin worked at OrbiMed as an Operating Vice President from March 2018 to November 2018, Private Equity Vice President from January 2017 to March 2018, and Private Equity Senior Associate from June 2014 to January 2017.

Badreddin also co-founded Silverback Therapeutics, serving as Co-Founder & Chief Business Officer from March 2018 to September 2018, and Co-Founder & Head of Corporate Development from April 2016 to March 2018.

Additionally, Badreddin served as a Board Observer at Modis Therapeutics, Inc. from March 2018 to September 2018, Turnstone Biologics from October 2016 to March 2018, Pionyr Immunotherapeutics from July 2016 to March 2018, ObsEva from November 2015 to January 2017, and Corvus Pharmaceuticals from November 2014 to December 2016.

Prior to their work in the biotechnology industry, Badreddin worked as a Consultant at Bain & Company from September 2012 to June 2014.

Badreddin Edris completed their Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (BIS) in Microbiology at Weber State University from 2005 to 2007. Badreddin then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Biology at Stanford University from 2008 to 2009. Later, they went on to obtain a PhD in Genetics from Stanford University, where they studied from 2009 to 2012.
