Cara Prehn

Cara Prehn, LCSW, currently serves as the Behavioral Health Director at both Daly City Youth Health Center and Edgewood Center for Children and Families. With extensive experience in clinical supervision and program development, Cara has held pivotal roles at Seneca Family of Agencies as Program Manager and Clinical Supervisor, championing trauma-informed care for systems-involved youth and families. Previous positions include providing psychotherapy in private practice, offering short-term behavioral health treatment at Lifelong Medical, working as a Pediatric Medical Social Worker at Kaiser Permanente, and serving as a Child Welfare Social Worker with the County of San Mateo. Cara Prehn holds a Master's degree in Social Work from San Jose State University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
