Edgewood Center for Children and Families
Mr. Biggs joined Edgewood in November 2012, previously serving as Major Gifts Officer and Director of Philanthropic Services. He is responsible for Edgewood’s fundraising, external communication, and volunteer engagement. He has over 30 years of experience in the non-profit sector with an emphasis on building financial and volunteer support for programs that benefit marginalized populations locally and globally.
Prior to joining Edgewood Mr. Biggs worked on issues centered around hunger and poverty in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. He served in various roles with World Neighbors over the course of 24 years, including as Associate Vice President, Development. He has served on the boards of Media for International Development, AIDS Legal Referral Panel, BAIDO (Bay Area International Organizations), and Partners in Responsible Tourism. He currently serves on the steering committee of the San Francisco Chapter of Advisors in Philanthropy.
