Athavan M. has extensive experience in information technology and education, currently serving as an Information Technology Operations Manager at EHN Canada since October 2023 and as a PACs Board Member at Durham College since April 2024. Previously, Athavan held positions including Cyber Security Instructor at Assistia, promoting industry-aligned course content, and managed IT operations at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences. Athavan has demonstrated leadership in diverse roles, including IT Project Supervisor for a COVID-19 vaccine clinic at Durham Region and Team Lead positions at My Techforce Group and Barrick Gold Corporation, where successful project management and team coordination were key focus areas. Athavan holds a degree in Computer System Technology from Durham College and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of the People.
