Edgewood ISD
Ricky Shaw is an experienced educator and pastor, currently serving as a teacher at Edgewood ISD since August 2022 at Gus Garcia Middle School powered by TAMU. Prior to this role, Ricky held teaching positions at Judson High School from August 2014 to August 2022 and Uvalde CISD from September 2011 to June 2014. Ricky also worked as a paraprofessional at UCISD from August 2009 to September 2011. In addition to teaching, Ricky has been a pastor and teacher at Golden Gate MBC SATX since April 2005. Ricky holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Leadership and Administration from Concordia University Texas, completed between 2015 and 2016, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Bible & Theology from American Baptist College, obtained from 1986 to 1989.
