Sandra Lomas is an experienced educator currently serving as the Accelerated Learning Coordinator at Edgewood Independent School District since February 2023. Prior to this role, Sandra contributed to the educational community as an Assistant Principal at South San Antonio ISD from July 2019 to February 2023. Between August 2004 and June 2019, Sandra held multiple positions at Edgewood ISD, including Literacy Coach, District Curriculum Specialist, and Instructional Facilitator, focusing on English Language Arts and Social Studies curriculum across elementary and secondary levels. Sandra earned both a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Our Lady of the Lake University.
