Alex Taylor

Alex Taylor has a diverse work experience in various roles within the finance industry.

Alex began their career at The Transportation Group, where they served as Vice President and later launched their Hong Kong office.

Alex then co-founded SSY Capital, an investment banking boutique focused on the shipping industry, where they arranged significant financings and earned prestigious mandates for private equity recapitalizations and fixed income offerings.

Afterward, they worked as a Registered Principal & FinOp at Mercury Securities, LLC.

Following that, they joined Christiania Capital LLC as a Managing Director, forming a strategic partnership with Meyler Capital, where they also held the role of Managing Director.

Alex later joined HedgeCoVest as a Director, where they enabled investors to replicate hedge fund investments in their own accounts.

Currently, they are working at Edgeworth Security, starting as a Senior Financial Analyst & Pricing Specialist and progressing to Vice President of Finance. Alex now holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at the company.

Alex Taylor obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics with a concentration in Finance from the University of Virginia, where they studied from 1996 to 2000.
