Robert Krien is an accomplished Architect and Technical Lead at Edgio, where since February 2018, Robert has contributed to multiple projects within the Uplynk video streaming solution, including Cloud Slicer Live and Vibe, focusing on cloud-based live video ingest and advanced video routing leveraging Verizon’s network. Prior to Edgio, Robert served as a Software Architect and Developer at EMC from September 2011 to January 2018, primarily in the ScaleIO distributed storage division, where Robert designed and implemented large-scale management systems and protocols. Robert also held roles at SAP Labs Israel from 2002 to August 2011, focusing on the SAP Portal core group, and began his career as a Software Developer at SkyMap from 2000 to 2001, creating mobile mapping applications. Robert holds a BA in Computer Sciences from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, earned in 2000.
