Elad Yitzhaki

Director of Computer Vision at Edgybees

Elad Yitzhaki has been working in the software industry since 2005. Elad started as a BSP engineer at Alcatel-Lucent, where they designed and implemented applications using C++ and brought up new mainboards based on Vxworks over PowerQUICC II. In 2007, they moved on to Radlive as a DSP engineer, where they designed and implemented C++ applications over Windows CE and multi DSP framework over TI DSP/BIOS. In 2010, they joined Harmonic as a Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented software applications using UML and C++ over Linux OS. Elad then moved up to Software Team Lead and later Software Manager, where they supervised and managed SW activities from evaluation and proof of concept through bringup and advanced application development. In 2017, they joined Amazon Web Services as a Software Developer, where they designed and implemented a virtualization testing mechanism to be used to test the performance of Graviton 2 chips during emulation stage, as well as EL3 firmware (UEFI) for both Graviton & Graviton 2 processor. Currently, they are the Director of Computer Vision and Software Development Team Lead at Edgybees, where they are responsible for designing and implementing video pipeline, decoding and synchronization of ES for algorithm processing, transcoding and serving the video as HLS, as well as computer vision algorithms, in emphasis of georegistration and image processing.

Elad Yitzhaki attended Galili from 1995 to 1998. Elad then went on to study at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer and Software Engineering from 1998 to 2002.
