Oren Cohen

Oren Cohen has worked in the software engineering field since 2011. Oren began their career as the Founder of Alive2Play, a gaming-related website, in 2011. In 2015, they began working as a QA Engineer for Side-kick Games, where they managed the process of bug detection and resolving bugs, managed testers, and worked with abroad QA teams for large scale testing. In 2016, they worked as a QA Engineer for Globo Kids Games and as a Blogger for Geekosmos, writing about video games, books, TV shows, and movies. In 2017, they began working as a Software Development Engineer for Edgybees Ltd., where they wrote services in the backend suite. In 2020, they founded The Geek Writer. Prior to 2011, Oren Cohen worked as a Human Resources Clerk for the Israel Defense Forces from 2005-2011.

Oren Cohen attended the Holon Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
