Nikki Plafcan

Nikki Plafcan is an experienced high school counselor at Edina Public Schools since August 2019, previously serving as an educational associate and long-term substitute school counselor within the same district. With a strong background in coaching, Nikki has also held positions as a diving coach at Edina Country Club and Robbinsdale Armstrong High School, focusing on athlete development across various skill levels. Nikki's previous roles include special education paraprofessional and youth leader, emphasizing support for students with special needs and encouraging teamwork in youth activities. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education from Concordia College and dual Master of Science degrees in Counselor Education and School Counseling from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
