Mert Woodard

Mert Woodard has a diverse work experience in the field of finance and operations. They started their career as a Budget Analyst at Minneapolis Public Schools in 2015 and later took on the role of Senior Accountant. From 2019 to 2020, Mert worked as the Manager of Accounting & Finance. In 2020, they moved to Wayzata Public Schools as the Director of Finance. Currently, Mert serves as the CFO/Director of Finance & Operations at Edina Public Schools.

Mert Woodard holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, which was obtained in 2022. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2012, Woodard pursued their Bachelor of Science in Business degree at the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, specializing in Accounting & Finance. In addition to their academic qualifications, Woodard has also obtained certifications such as the Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) from AGA (Association of Government Accountants) in February 2021 and the Certified Administrator of School Finance and Operations (SFO) from ASBO International in December 2020.
