Cristian Novotny

Cristian Novotny is an experienced professional with a diverse background in business development, consulting, and entrepreneurship. Cristian currently serves as the Business Development Manager at the Edinburgh Centre for Robotics, focusing on connecting research in Robotics and Autonomous Systems with industry partners. Cristian is also the Founder and Master Blender of Papa's Chai, where high-quality Masala Chai blends are created. As Chair of Industry Liaison for Informatics Europe and the European Conference on Computer Vision, Cristian enhances collaboration between academia and industry. Previously, Cristian held sales and recruitment roles at Causeway Technologies, Collectiviti, Computer Futures, and Cathcart Associates. Cristian holds a Master's degree in Economics from Heriot-Watt University and a High School Diploma from the International School Frankfurt.
