Rachael McCrea

Rachael McCrea has a diverse range of work experience. Rachael started their career as a Purchase Ledger Clerk at Valvona & Crolla in 2004 before transitioning to ProjectScotland, where they worked as a Finance Assistant and later became a Trusts & Foundations Fundraiser. In 2012, they joined Gogo Olive Trust as a Trustee & Treasurer and remained in this role until 2020. Rachael then served as a Trustee at St Mungo's Church Balerno & Livingston from 2017 to 2020. Rachael worked at Venture Trust from 2015 to 2022, starting as a Funding Officer and later becoming a Funding & Partnerships Manager. Most recently, Rachael worked as a Trusts and Foundations Manager at Edinburgh Napier University from 2022 to 2023. Rachael will be taking on the role of Head of Funding at Edinburgh Leisure starting in June 2023.

Rachael McCrea's education history begins in 1997 when they attended Edinburgh College of Art. Rachael studied there until 2001 and earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honors degree in Tapestry. In 2017, Rachael attended the Chartered Institute of Fundraising and obtained a Certificate in Fundraising. Most recently, in 2022, they attended The Institute of Leadership and Management and obtained an SCQF Level 9 Award in Leadership.
