Lorraine Simpson

Lorraine Simpson is the Managing Director at The Lines Between, a company specializing in qualitative and quantitative research and evaluation services since July 2011. In addition to this role, Lorraine serves as a member of the programme advisory board for the MSc in Applied Social Research at Edinburgh Napier University, oversees an internship programme, and delivers guest lectures. Lorraine is also a member of the Institute of Directors and the Governing Council of the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce, contributing to strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing business in Edinburgh. As a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, Lorraine supports creative capacities for societal enrichment. Previous experience includes roles on the Northfield and Willowbrae Community Council, the Social Research Association (Scotland) board, and various senior research positions at consulting firms. Lorraine holds a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Liverpool.
