Kushan Bandara is a senior design engineering professional currently employed at Edison Consulting Group since March 2023. Prior to this role, Kushan held various engineering positions at Ceylon Electricity Board from 2010 to 2023, culminating in the position of Chief Engineer for Operations and Maintenance in Generation Protection. Earlier experience includes electrical engineering roles focused on asset management for hydroelectric systems and system development at Lanka Electricity Company Private Limited. Kushan began the career at Aitken Spence Power (Pvt) Ltd, where operational responsibilities were managed for a 100MW power plant. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Moratuwa and a Master of Engineering from the University of Peradeniya.
