James Magness

James Magness is currently the Head of Clean Energy at Edison Group, where they lead the global energy equity research franchise with a focus on clean energy and the broader energy transition. Previously, they held various roles, including Equity Sales VP at Nomura Code and Consultant at Carbon Tracker, where they modeled global oil and gas supply-demand scenarios. They also served as Head of Research at CDP, expanding the research department, and worked as an equity analyst VP at HSBC, specializing in cleantech. James is a qualified Chartered Accountant and earned a BA in Physics from Oxford University.
