Neil McDonald

Neil McDonald has a diverse work experience in the finance and legal sectors. Neil started their career at National Australia Bank as a Secondee in the Group Legal department. Later, they joined Shepherd and Wedderburn as a Solicitor in the Banking & Finance team. Neil then worked at RBC Brewin Dolphin as an Assistant Director in Corporate Finance. Neil's next role was as a Board Trustee & Non-Executive Director at Over The Wall, a UK children's charity. Currently, they are the Chairman of the Scottish Advisory Group at the London Stock Exchange. Prior to this, Neil served as the Head of Corporate Finance for STEM at Cavendish.

Neil McDonald earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the University of Glasgow in the field of Law, completing their studies between 1997 and 2001. Neil later obtained a Diploma in Legal Practice (DipLP) from the University of Strathclyde in 2002. In addition, Neil has additional certifications as an AIM Qualified Executive from the London Stock Exchange and as an Associate from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI).
