Giovanni Brianza

Giovanni Brianza currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Edison Next since May 2021, overseeing operations in Italy, Spain, and Poland with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainable solutions. In addition, Giovanni is a longstanding member of the Executive Committee at Edison SpA, holding the position of Executive Vice President for Strategy, Corporate Development, and Innovation, where responsibilities include corporate development, M&A, digital transformation, and strategic planning. Previous experience includes roles as Senior Vice President and Head of CEO Office at Edison SpA, where Giovanni managed strategic initiatives and M&A activities. Prior to Edison, Giovanni held the position of Strategy Manager at EDF, contributing to the strategic planning for the Italian market. Giovanni's career began in business development at Edison and logistics at Pirelli. Educational background includes an MBA from SDA Bocconi and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
