Matthew Brownsword

Matthew Brownsword is a seasoned professional in data analysis and research, currently serving as the Director of Data Analysis at Edison Research since June 2018. At Edison Research, key roles have included Survey Research Data Analyst, Manager of Research and Data Science, Election/Project Manager, and Election Coordinator, where significant responsibilities encompassed coordinating exit polling and reporting essential data during the 2018 midterm elections. Prior experience includes a Spring Internship at Whitehouse for Senate and various positions at The Brown Daily Herald, Inc., where Matthew served as Vice President and Managing Editor of Media. Additional internships at the Massachusetts House of Representatives and Athletivate involved legislative support and philanthropic research, respectively. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Brown University, completed in May 2018, along with a high school diploma from Walpole High School, graduated in 2014.
