Alberto Pasanisi has an extensive work experience in the energy sector, with a focus on research, development, and technological innovation. Alberto has held various roles in different companies over the years.
Alberto started their career at Veolia Water in 2000, working as a Project Engineer until 2004.
In 2004, they joined EDF where they worked as a Research Engineer until 2008, before becoming an R&D Project Manager from 2009 to 2014.
From 2014 to 2019, Pasanisi worked at EIFER - European Institute for Energy Research. Alberto held several positions, including R&D Project Manager, Group Manager for Urban Systems, and Group Manager for Smart & Sustainable Cities.
Since 2019, Pasanisi has been working at Edison SpA as the Responsible for Smart territories and cities. In 2020, they were promoted to the role of Director of Research, Development, & Technological Innovation.
Alberto Pasanisi received their Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II in the years 1990 to 1997. Alberto went on to pursue a PhD in Statistics from Ecole nationale du Génie rural, des Eaux et des Forêts between 2001 and 2004. Additionally, they obtained a Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches degree from Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC) in 2013 to 2014.
