Danilo Esposito

Danilo Esposito is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in regulatory affairs within the energy sector. Currently serving as the Head of Gas Assets and Wholesale Market Regulation at Edison SpA since May 2011, Danilo oversees unbundled gas business operations, including gas storage, distribution, hydrogen, and small-scale LNG. Prior to this role, Danilo was the Regulatory Affairs Manager for both the electricity market at Edipower (2006-2011) and for electricity market and CIP6 regulation at api energia S.p.A. (2004-2006). Danilo's career commenced at api - anonima petroli italiana, where expertise was developed in health, safety, and environmental regulations. Academically, Danilo holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Federico II in Naples and has furthered education with training from SAFE in 2004.
