Giovanni Zacco

Giovanni Zacco has over 25 years of work experience in various roles within the energy industry. Giovanni started their career in 1994 as an IT Analyst and Programmer at Datalog srl. In 1995, they joined Edison SpA as an IT Project Leader in the Natural Gas Department. From 2003 to 2004, they served as the IT Demand Manager in the Asset Management Business Unit at Edison SpA. Giovanni then transitioned to a role as the Head of Short Term Gas Logistics from 2004 to 2014. In 2014, Giovanni became the Head of Gas & Power Optimization at Edison SpA until 2017 when they were promoted to Director of Group Gas Asset Optimization. Their most recent role at Edison SpA is as the Director of Portfolio Analysis, Forecasting & Operations, which they started in October 2020. Overall, Giovanni Zacco has accumulated a wealth of experience and expertise in the energy industry, particularly in the optimization of gas and power assets.

Giovanni Zacco completed their high school education at ITIS Magistri Cumacini from 1981 to 1986, earning a high school diploma in Information Technology. Giovanni then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Università di Pavia, which they completed from 1986 to 1994.
