Head Of Energy Efficiency Solutions Marketing at Edison

Maurizio Federspiel has experience working in various roles and companies. From 2013 to the present, they have worked at Edison, starting as the Head of Energy Efficiency Solutions Marketing. In this role, they led a team responsible for designing business models within the energy efficiency market, developing products, and creating go-to-market strategies for retail and SME clients. Maurizio also handled energy communities, CSC, HVAC, prosumer, and power quality solutions. Federspiel was also involved in the coordination stream for EDF Prosumer, focusing on decentralized electrical systems for B2B customers. Additionally, they were a member of the EDF Talent Program. Prior to their current role, Federspiel served as the Head of Energy Services Marketing & Business Development, where they developed solutions for end customers and managed senior product owners in HVAC and prosumer business lines. Before joining Edison, from 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Renewables Business Developer at IMQ eambiente. In 2009, Federspiel worked as a Research Scientist at Università Ca' Foscari Venezia from October 2009 to March 2010.

Maurizio Federspiel completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Sciences & Technologies from Università degli Studi di Padova in 2007. Maurizio then pursued a Master's of Science (MSc) in Sustainable Development from Università Ca' Foscari Venezia from 2008 to 2010, and also completed a Master's of Science (MSc) in Energy & Resources from Utrecht University in 2009. In 2012, they obtained a 2nd Master Level Degree in Renewables and Energy Management from 24ORE Business School, specializing in Energy Management and Systems Technology/Technician. In terms of certifications, they obtained an IELTS certification from the British Council in 2008 and a Spanish language certification from Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) in 2006. Maurizio also studied Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV).
