Jan Flemming

Jan Flemming has over two decades of experience in education, currently serving as a Sessional Lecturer at Edith Cowan University since February 2020 and as a School Support Consultant for Catholic Education Western Australia since January 2015. In the role of Early Childhood Consultant, Jan focuses on enhancing professional development for teachers, particularly in early childhood education and play pedagogy, and provides advisory services to school leadership teams on best practices. This includes verification of compliance with the National Quality Standards and training EAL/D instructors. Prior experience includes a tenure as an Early Childhood Teacher at Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School from 2001 to 2014. Jan’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Primary Education from Edith Cowan University, a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, and various certifications emphasizing instructional leadership and early childhood studies.
