Rafael Ortiz

Rafael oversees all company operations. Best-known for co-founding NexTag, the largest comparison shopping site for products and services, in 1999, he served as VP of Marketing and Business Development, retiring from the company after its $1.2 billion sale in 2007.

He went on to work as a private investor in technology startups. With a BA in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business, Ortiz began his career serving as an evangelist at Apple’s first internet-focused business unit and in enterprise sales for IBM’s telecommunications arm.
