Sebastian Waack

Sebastian Waack has worked in a variety of roles throughout their career. Sebastian began their professional journey in 2007 as a Consultant for InWEnt. Sebastian then moved on to become a Research Assistant at Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel (CAU) and Humboldt University of Berlin. In 2010, they were appointed as Director of the Institut für angewandtes Schulmanagement (IfaS). From 2013 to 2016, Sebastian held the role of Mathematics Teacher at Albert-Schweitzer-Gymnasium Berlin, followed by the role of Science Teacher at Gemeinschaftsschule auf dem Campus Rütli. In 2015, they Co-Founded Edkimo and currently serves as their CEO.

Sebastian Waack studied at Leipzig University from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a Staatsexamen / Master in Mathematics, Physics, and Education. From 1999 to 2001, they studied Mathematics, Physics, and Philosophy at The University of G\u00f6ttingen. In 2005, they completed a Master Thesis in Philosophy and Theirtory of Education at the Russian University of Humanities. From 2003 to 2004, they studied Russian language and Mathematics at Saint Petersburg State University.
